Julie & the BadDogs is NOT another cover band.

Sure, we can play the songs you know and love, but we play them in a style that's spontaneous and unique - without sacrificing what makes them all-time favorites.  Nothing is canned, everything you hear is created in the moment and adapted to the mood of the crowd.  Our four-piece band allows each player the musical space to fully express their talent.  Because we're not a big group, the sound you hear is crisp, clear, and honest.  Our volume is always tasteful - loud when it should be and quiet when it shouldn't. 

Our style is best described as good music.  It's rock, country, blues, R&B, jazz, soul, swing, funky chicken, over easy, and even a little cajun or reggae.  (Sorry folks - no death metal, getto rap, or opera.  And no, we won't play "Free Bird".)
